Sound

You have a certain sound in mind for your muscle car or truck.  Texas T/A Mufflers have a solid deep tone.  Our multi-chamber design is welded in 16 gauge steel, (heavier than most aftermarket mufflers) with large weld seams to produce a more rigid structure.

"I just wanted to let you know we received the (Texas T/A) mufflers and installed them and they sound GREAT, even better than your website advertises."
Ken H.

The preceding recordings and video feature a red 1979 Pontiac Trans Am with a stock 403, 2 1/2 inch diameter dual exhaust to the mufflers with "H" pipe, 2 1/4 inch diameter pipes from the mufflers back to "splitter" exhaust tips.  The microphone was attached 3 feet behind the bumper of the car and did pick up some wind and road noise.

This is video from The Bandit Run 2007 Kick-Off with participant Paul W.  He talks a little about the modifications done to the engine and then lets the motor speak for its self.  This dual exhaust set up features an X-pipe and two dual chamber Texas TA Mufflers.

Resto-Mod Trans Am Video with Sound

The preceding audio/video recordings feature a black 1981 Pontiac Trans Am with a 700+ horsepower 383 CID "Cup Car" engine.  The exhaust includes long tube headers, full length 3 inch pipes and X-pipe through 3 inch dual chamber Texas TA Mufflers.  Wait until your boss is at lunch, because you are going to want to turn this one up.

" I finally got done with the exhaust on my 78 T/A. I love the way the mufflers Sound. I stayed with the stock size exhaust pipes, it still sounds good. I changed my mind about selling the car now. I turned down $7,500 for it from a friend. He asked about were I got my mufflers from so I gave him your web page."

"These mufflers have a nice deep tone.  It's attention-getting but not obnoxious."
